Prepare one day ahead for Alliance Duel. Decide what you want to upgrade, set aside the relevant items, and check that the active task awards points for the action you are about to take. The current task list and event timer govern your spending.
Check the action that earns points
A construction or research theme does not tell you whether a particular task counts speedup use, completion or a gain in progress. Read the individual task before arranging a long timer. Opening a resource pack or using an unrelated item should not be assumed to score.
Keep construction, research and training speedups grouped by purpose. Reserve general speedups until you know which planned upgrade needs them. Save hero fragments, recruitment items and skill materials for matching tasks, while continuing essential account progress.
Prepare for the tasks on your event page
Set a reachable reward target, then prepare for the categories listed in your current Duel. Use the checklist when a matching task appears; check the event page for its day and scoring window.
| Task category | Prepare | Check before acting |
|---|---|---|
| Construction | Prepare useful construction projects and the resources they need. | Verify whether the task counts speedup use, building completion or another action. |
| Research | Line up useful research and research speedups. | Confirm which research actions score and whether a scoring bonus can be completed first. |
| Heroes | Choose hero upgrades and set aside fragments, manuals and recruitment items. | Check each item category; upgrade heroes you use rather than spending across the roster. |
| Troops | Plan troop training or promotions and the resources to supply them. | Compare the displayed cost, time and task points for the available choices. |
| Raid | Prepare for Raid with your Alliance. | Read current casualty rules, confirm targets and decide how to protect your Settlement while absent. |
Check Day 2 pet tasks in eligible States
Version 2.6.200 adds pet development tasks to Day 2 where the Pet system has unlocked. Read the task list for the exact actions and point values before using pet materials. An installed update alone does not establish that your State has unlocked Pets.
Keep pet spending tied to a companion you intend to develop. A scoring task gives you a reason to choose the timing; it does not require buying materials or upgrading every available pet.
Make the same resources more useful
Review research priorities for bonuses that apply to the Duel activities you regularly complete. Check the bonus description and its completion time before spending the resources it is meant to benefit.
Choose hero skill milestones using your available Hero Skill Manuals. For building work, start from your Power Plant plan so that a scoring day also advances a useful prerequisite.
For troop tasks, compare training and promotion in the current screen. Do not assume promotion always provides better points per resource or minute. Stop at the reward target you planned unless additional spending has a clear account benefit.
Apply the Raid defense rule narrowly
The v2.6.0 pilot removes defending troop casualties when the opposing Alliance attacks a Settlement during Alliance Duel–Raid. Attackers still suffer casualties, and battles outside that specific case are unchanged. Check your event rules before relying on a pilot feature.
Follow your Alliance’s target and rally plan. Check Hospital capacity, available recovery resources and your location before attacking. A successful attack can still carry a recovery cost.
When you will be away, inspect your shield or other available protection and its remaining duration. The defense pilot is not a blanket guarantee for field troops, other opponents or other events. Choose protection based on the battles your troops can actually enter.
